Quick Answer

You upgrade weapons in Queen's Domain by hitting enemies with them. Each level adds 3% bonus damage, up to 30%, and most weapons can evolve at level 10. Weapons marked MAX cannot level up or evolve.

How do you level up a weapon?

You raise a weapon's level by landing successful attacks with that weapon.

Use the weapon you want to upgrade

Fight with that weapon to improve its damage. Each successful hit advances its level slightly.

Keep landing hits

Each weapon level gives you another 3% bonus damage, up to a maximum of 30%.

Check for level 10 or MAX

Most weapons can evolve when they reach level 10. A weapon displaying MAX has reached its limit.

You can spend time leveling your starting sword against weaker enemies while progressing through the opening areas. Those fights improve its damage as you prepare for the first boss.

How does weapon evolution work?

You can evolve most weapons by using them until they reach level 10.

Evolution turns a weapon into an entirely new weapon. Evolved forms are often more powerful and may have new abilities or magical powers.

Not every weapon evolves. If your weapon's level says MAX, you cannot upgrade it further or evolve it.

Your regular upgrade progress comes from using the weapon and hitting enemies. You do not need to visit a fixed upgrade location for that progress.

Which weapon evolutions are known?

You can evolve Rusted Spear into Jigeki's Serpent Thrust and Holy Sword Endu into Soul Bound Endu.

More evolutions are added here as they are found. The Queen's Domain weapons table shows every weapon, so you can pick which one to level next.

Holy Sword Endu also gains additional dashes through Wind Gems and an ultimate attack through the Storm Gem. Those gem upgrades are separate from weapon leveling; see Holy Sword Endu Wind Gems.

Where players get stuck

  • Looking for a blacksmith: there isn't one; weapons only level up from hits.
  • Weapon stopped leveling: it shows MAX, so it has no evolution.
